This progress depends on the generation, transmission and management of electricity, which – with characteristics unique amongst all forms of energy – powers the processing, storage and transmission of data, whilst also ensuring that intelligence has a tangible impact by illuminating, powering, guiding and moving the world.

The DEI operates from its branches in Bologna and Cesena, a Multicampus structure that fosters dialogue and collaboration between different areas of competence, people and local contexts.
