Quantum Information Engineering

The research group focuses on quantum information processing, aiming to develop engineering solutions for quantum computing, quantum communications, and quantum sensing, including Quantum Internet and its associated network protocols. In particular, the group is engaged in research and development of quantum error correcting codes to ensure information integrity in quantum contexts. These activities are aimed at developing applications in the field of quantum computing, such as information protection for quantum memories and communication, also in relation to future terrestrial and space networks.
