About the speaker

Ing. Daniele Venier nowadays ruled as R&D Coordinator of Danieli Automation has a personal history on 22 years old spent inside the company. Started as researcher of process modeling and control, then moved into production as L1 automation specialist, then as L2 automation specialist to came back to research as coordinator at the beginning of 2021.

Abstract

Starting from the description of an internally developed platform, the presentation will focus on two products recently developed by Danieli Automation. These products, and the platform itself, constitute an emblematic example of edge computing that bases its reliability on Machine Learning algorithms in the field of computer vision.
