About the speaker

Alessandra Lena received the Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering, with honors, in 2006 from University of Bologna. After a research project with CNIT related to optical communications she moved in Agilent Technologies (now Keysight Technologies) as a sales and presales engineer, helping customers define configurations and buy solutions for their measurement needs. She has over 9 years of experience in T&M industry, operating in different markets and facing various measurement scenarios.

Abstract

Fast paced technology is continuously demanding for test and measurement equipment evolution, necessary from R&D to production phase and requiring consistency of results. As a test and measurement equipment manufacturer, Keysight Technologies is adapting instrumentation’ architectures to modern requirements: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, to name a few, have significantly changed in order to satisfy new needs. Analyzing how they’ve changed and what are the next challenges on the horizon (5G, Internet of Things…) will help identify further possible developments, constraints and possibilities.
