About the speaker

Eduward Tangdiongga received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1994 and 2001, respectively. In 2006, he joined as an Assistant Professor on short-haul optical communication. He has participated in several European collaborative research projects on in-building optical networks, such as ALPHA, POF-PLUS, and EURO-FOS.

His current research interests include access networks, radio over (single mode-, multimode-, and plastic) fiber and optical wireless communication. He has (co-)published more than 250 papers and book chapters.
