Abstract
In the last 25 years, in the field of ICT, we experienced the development of many applications that dramatically changed our life. In order to analize this trend, several interpretations have been introduced with partial contribution to the complete understanding of the phenomenon. In this seminar, an interpretation that introduces three great integrations is discussed, where the term “integration” has the meaning that is common in physics. This interpretation allows to understand the main trends of the development of the ICT world and sheds some light on its future. Notably, the Author introduced the INFOsphere concepts for the first time already in 1992.
