Visiting incoming (Professors - Scholars)

The relevant Unibo's regulation determined two vising's categories, that is:  

- Visiting professors: scholars or experts, of appropriate scientific qualification, coming from abroad, who have been appointed to run course units or manage language training, tutoring activities or seminars by the University offices on a contract basis.

- Visiting scholars: scholars, of appropriate scientific qualifications, from foreign universities or research institutes, invited to the university departments to perform personal training, cooperation projects or scientific exchanges, without remuneration.

Visiting professors/scholars can be such if their staying is no lower than 15 days and no further than 12 months.

The relevant Unibo’s lecturer should enter the visiting 's application through the Visiting's platform in order for the Head of the Department to grenlight it.

Upon arrival in Italy, the relevant Unibo’s lecturer should deal with the Department's personnel to carry out the check-in. The visiting scholar/professor shall receive the Unibo's credential and will be required to attend the online safety courses (module 1 and module 2) in order to enter the Department's premises. Likewise, upon departure the relevant Unibo’s lecturer shall inform the Department's personnel to carry out the check-out.
