About the speaker

Alessandro Amaducci was born in Forlì, Italy in 1988. He received a M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. Passionate of Power Electronics, and EMC, and author of several patents, Alessandro was one of the pioneer of EMI filtering apparatus for Electric Vehicles; his products can be found today inside all the major automotive OEMs. After being the Head of R&D of Schaffner Group (Switzerland) Alessandro came back to Italy to spin off his new company.

Abstract

By creating a small laboratory inside the classroom, different aspects of the conducted emission problem will be analyzed together with the students. The goal will be, by the end of the workshop, to filter the noise generated by the motor drive. During the workshop different instrumentations such as signal generators, impedance analyzers and EMI Receiver will be use. Additionally, the students will have the opportunity to analyze different samples of On Board Chargers, Electric Motors, Drive Inverters and EMI Filters that are currently inside vehicles driving in the streets.
