Abstract
Modern wireless communication systems have experienced rapid development in recent decades. However, the slowing down of Moore’s law puts a question mark on whether this development is sustainable. In this talk, a history view on the evolution of wireless communication systems and the underlying electronics technology, especially for the digital ICs, will be given. The future challenges on ICs for wireless communication systems will also be discussed.
