Reliable, Safe, Secure and Time Deterministic Intelligent Electronic Systems

The research activity includes the following topics:

  1. Fault Modelling: with the goal to model, the effects of the more likely faults for advanced technologies on the behavior of high performance electronic intelligent systems.
  2. Test and Design for Testability: with the goal to develop new test algorithms and new design for testability strategies for intelligent electronic systems.
  3. Design Strategies for Electronic Intelligent Systems with High Reliability, Safety, Security and Time Determinism: with the goal to develop techniques for fault tolerance, for fault resiliency, for safety and for security of high performance time deterministic intelligent electronic systems, based on advanced CMOS technology, and emerging technologies, as well as strategies to study the interoperability among such techniques.
  4. Energy Harvesting and Green Energy: with the goal to develop design methodologies for fault tolerant energy harvesting systems, and high reliability and energy efficiency photovoltaic systems.
