Design of integrated analog hardware accelerators

The research concerns the design of analog hardware accelerators to perform key operations required in a variety of signal processing applications, such as deep neural networks, with the aim of increasing performance in terms of power consumption and computation capability. The activities are carried out within the joint STMicroelectronics – ARCES lab. In particular, the project aims at exploring the potential of analog PCM-based architectures as in-memory computational accelerators also by analyzing the integration of such accelerators in complex system-on-chip.
