About the speaker

Ranieri Niccoli is Chief Manufacturing Officer at Automobili Lamborghini (since 2008) and Board Member. He was born in Bologna on the 12th of November, 1968, and graduated in Aeronautics Engineering in La Sapienza University (Rome) in 1995. Previous experiences: Fiat Automobili and Bonfiglioli Riduttori, holding different operations managerial positions.

Abstract

Automobili Lamborghini has born as a challenge and has an history of iconic cars and innovation. In the last years, the company has grown continuously in volumes, revenues and dimension, facing new challenges linked to the new trends of the market, the geopolitical situation and the features of the new generations of our products. In production cars became more and more customized and digitalized and this has grown sensibly the complexity to steer in the factory: the solution chosen by Automobili Lamborghini has a name :“Manifattura Lamborghini “. It’s a production system where the craftmanship is enabled and supported by technologies and digital solution to produce a perfect super sport car: the dream of our client.
